Vava'u has a number of restaurants and has become quite the place of international food.

Starting from the heart of Neiafu:

Tropicana Café: open for breakfast and lunch serving a wide variety of food and beverages.

Tonga Bob's Cantina : Lunch and Dinner
The only Mexican restaurant in Tonga, bringing the choice of spice to the Harbor front. Situated opposite the small boat dock, and handily just above our dive shop, Tonga Bob's offers great food and a wide variety of nightly entertainment.

Bounty Bar : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
The Bounty Bar also located in the heart of Neiafu, is one of the oldest bars around and is also the owner of the only Karaoke machine.

Puataukanave : Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Located alongside the Puataukanave hotel (Pua for short) has great harborside views and lies just on the outskirts of the main town. The Pua is one of the newest additions to Neiafu, and also has weekly entertainment.

La Vella - Lunch and Dinner
One of two Italian restaurants in Vava'u, La Vella's famous pizza can be found just opposite the Pua.

Dancing Rooster : Lunch and Dinner
Owned and run by Swiss chef Gunther, a great restaurant for something special. From Homemade Pastas to Fresh Lobsters, the Dancing Rooster is a sure treat for everyone.

Mermaid - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Situated along the waterfront, the Mermaid has many a story to tell. From the t-shirts hanging from the ceiling as momentos, to the varied menu and specials board, there are always people at the Mermaid.

Ciao - Lunch and Dinner
Ciao, also an Italian restaurant is found opposite the Mermaid entrance and hosts views of the harbor.

Compass Rose - Lunch and Dinner
The Compass Rose has great harbor and sunset views, lying slightly above the waterfront. The balcony tables are definitely worth booking. Elegant yet simple dining.

Paradise Hotel - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
The Paradise Hotel overlooks the Harbor with stunning gardens and views makes any eating occasion a pleasure.

Pierre's Table - Lunch and Dinner
Pierre's table offers a three-course meal selection, overlooking the harbor, for an enjoyable evening.

Tongan Beach Hotel - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Linked by roads, the Tongan Beach lies on the island of Pangaimotu facing the channel leading to the harbor with fantastic views and good food. You can get there by either boat or car depending on which meal.

Tapauna - Lunch and Dinner (Book in Advance)
Maria and Eduardo have created a great evening out, with traditional Spanish fare and great on-site entertainment. Your evening at Tapauna will be a great one. Tapauna can only be accessed by boat and pick up for dinner is arranged when booking.

Ocean Breeze
Opening in 2006 and situated in the Princesses former residence with spacious balconies and stunning harbor views, Ocean Breeze is a must for everyone. Elegant, simple dining in a relaxed  casual yet regal setting is a story for everyone to tell about their time in Vava'u.
